As part of their 'Light & Dark' topic P1 & 2 have been looking at paintings by Jackson Pollock which look like pictures of outer space. Then using pipettes they tried to make their own version of a Jackson Pollock painting. During play they also played with a space rocket and tried to build their own rockets out of bricks, lego and sticklebricks. At the art table they cut out 2D shapes and tried to arrange them to make rocket pictures. They also learnt about Nocturnal animals.
