We were delighted to welcome Ellen Baird, mum of our P1 pupil Alexander, into school this week to speak to our P1 and P2 class about her work as a dentist.
The children thoroughly enjoyed hearing about Ellen’s important role in helping people to look after their teeth and even had the chance to practise brushing the dinosaur’s teeth!
We are very grateful to Ellen for taking the time to visit us and for the thoughtful goody bags she provided for every child.
Opportunities like this are a wonderful way to bring our local community into school and help our pupils learn more about the exciting careers they might aspire to in the future.
Thank you again, Ellen, for such an engaging and inspiring visit.
