Reception, P1 & 2 have started lots of spring activities in class. During play they played with frogs and lily pads in the water tray, built bird-houses using lego in the construction corner and also even helped Mrs Purvis to set up a farm shop! They practised writing lots of shopping lists for the farm-shop at the writing desk. They also made cotton wool sheep and painted frogs at the art table. During Numeracy we have been looking more at food you might find in a farm shop and practised weighing food items to see which are heavier and which are lighter using a two pan balance.
